FRMF and ONDA Sign Strategic Partnership Agreement on National Team Travel

The Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) and the National Airports Office (ONDA) signed, on Wednesday at Rabat-Salé Airport, a strategic partnership agreement aimed at strengthening mutual cooperation and improving services related to the travel of national teams and sports delegations.

This major partnership establishes the National Airports Office as one of the key institutional partners of the FRMF in supporting the mobility of national teams and major sporting events, according to a joint statement released by both parties.

The agreement, signed by FRMF President Fouzi Lekjaa and ONDA Director General Adel El Fakir, seeks to enhance reception and travel conditions for all national teams, across all categories, while providing advanced logistical services within Moroccan airports. It also supports the ongoing momentum of Moroccan football and aims to reinforce the image of the Kingdom as a leading sports destination at both continental and international levels.

Through this structuring agreement, ONDA positions itself as a long-term strategic partner of the FRMF, actively contributing to the organizational and logistical performance of national football. The statement adds that the partnership also aims to develop coordination and cooperation mechanisms in the organization of major football competitions, facilitate the movement of participating sports delegations, and improve the quality of services offered to sports travelers.

This initiative forms part of the joint efforts of both institutions to support Morocco’s sporting influence and strengthen its position as a major sports hub in Africa and worldwide, the statement concludes.
