Aziz Akhannouch chairs the RNI National Council under the banner of consistency and responsibility
True to a well established tradition, the National Rally of Independents (RNI) held, as it does at the start of every year, the ordinary session of its National Council. This organizational regularity is presented by the party as a mark of seriousness and sound internal governance.
Presiding over the proceedings of this meeting, held on Saturday January 10 in Rabat, RNI President Aziz Akhannouch recalled that convening the National Council during the first weeks of January is a firmly rooted tradition. He stressed that this deadline takes on particular importance this year given the political context and the democratic stakes as the next elections approach.
Addressing party members in attendance, Aziz Akhannouch reaffirmed the RNI’s commitment to a responsible political role, based on party mediation in the service of the higher interests of the Kingdom. According to him, the party has established itself as a credible political force whose vision and proposals now have a tangible influence on the national public debate.
The RNI President insisted that the party’s evolution is by no means the result of chance. “This trajectory is the result of continuous work, sustained grassroots engagement and constant faith in the future,” he said, highlighting trust as the fundamental foundation of social cohesion, a lever for economic development and a pillar of tomorrow’s Morocco.
Through this session of the National Council, the RNI aims to consolidate its internal momentum and reaffirm its determination to position itself durably as a central actor in Moroccan political life.
