Rabat: Parliamentary Delegations Led by Gérard Larcher and Yaël Braun-Pivet Meet with the French Community in Morocco
On Friday, January 30, the Residence of France in Rabat hosted a moment of dialogue and conviviality bringing together the President of the French Senate, Gérard Larcher, the President of the National Assembly, Yaël Braun-Pivet, along with a delegation of French parliamentarians, who met with members of the French community living in Morocco.
The reception provided an opportunity for direct and warm exchanges with French nationals, in an atmosphere marked by attentiveness and sharing. Discussions focused on daily life, as well as the expectations and aspirations of this community, which is deeply rooted in Morocco’s economic, cultural, and social fabric.
Beyond the institutional framework, the meeting highlighted the human dimension that forms the foundation of Franco-Moroccan relations. It underscored a living bond, sustained by women and men who, in their daily lives, embody the friendship and closeness between the two countries.
