Signing of a Framework Partnership Agreement between the National Initiative for Human Development and Mohammed VI Polytechnic University to Put Science and Innovation at the Service of Human Development

The National Coordination of the National Initiative for Human Development (INDH) and Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P) signed, last Monday, a framework partnership agreement aimed at establishing a lasting collaboration between academic research and public policy in the field of human development.

According to a joint statement, this partnership will help structure cooperation in the areas of social engineering, research, and scientific development in support of human development.

This collaboration is based on four main areas:

  1. Training and capacity building: Mohammed VI Polytechnic University will design and implement training modules in data science, artificial intelligence, and predictive modeling to support decision-making within the programs of the National Initiative for Human Development.
  2. Incubation, innovation, and scientific research: Work will focus on the design and incubation of social engineering models, including entrepreneurship and the social and solidarity economy. Activities will also include impact assessment and scientific research, with particular attention given to disseminating results.
  3. Design and development of digital tools and platforms: The university will leverage its expertise in digital engineering to develop tailor-made solutions that facilitate the implementation and monitoring of the National Initiative for Human Development programs. Educational capsules and videos on human development topics will also be produced.
  4. Conducting general and specific studies on behalf of the National Coordination of the National Initiative for Human Development, including prospective studies and research aimed at designing new programs or incubating intervention models.

The statement emphasized that by combining the territorial presence and practical experience of the National Initiative for Human Development with the academic expertise and technological innovation of Mohammed VI Polytechnic University, this partnership aims to place science and innovation at the service of measurable social impact, and to contribute to more inclusive, effective, and knowledge-based public policies.
