Morocco–Mali military cooperation: Official visit at the heart of the history of the Royal Armed Forces
As part of the general program of bilateral military cooperation between the Kingdom of Morocco and the Republic of Mali, and on the sidelines of the working meeting held from February 10 to 12, 2026 at the Officers’ Club in Rabat, Brigadier General Moussa Yoro Kente, head of the Malian delegation, paid a visit on Tuesday, February 10 to the Directorate of Military History under the General Staff of the Royal Armed Forces.


This visit is part of a dynamic aimed at strengthening strategic ties and sharing expertise between the two countries. The program began with a detailed presentation of the missions and activities of the Directorate, highlighting its role in preserving the national military memory and promoting the historical heritage of the Royal Armed Forces. The Malian delegation then toured the various spaces and galleries retracing key chapters in the history of the Moroccan army, as well as the depth of the Kingdom’s historical relations with its African environment.
At the conclusion of this immersion, Brigadier General Moussa Yoro Kente signed the institution’s guest book and delivered a statement in which he expressed his deep admiration for the quality of the reception and his appreciation of the richness of Morocco’s historical heritage. The visit concluded with an exchange of symbolic gifts and a commemorative photo session, marking a moment of military fraternity and strengthened cooperation between Rabat and Bamako.
