ONMT Brings Together American Tourism Leaders, Strengthening Confidence in Morocco as a Destination
Morocco is hosting the USTOA Out of Country Meeting 2026 from March 19 to 29, a major event in the North American tourism industry organized by the United States Tour Operators Association in partnership with the Moroccan National Tourist Office (ONMT).

Held in Africa for the first time, the event confirms Morocco’s position among the key destinations closely followed by leading American tour operators and reflects the strength of its partnership with this high-potential market, according to an ONMT statement.
The USTOA brings together major North American tour operators and is considered a key player in destination distribution and tourism flow orientation in the U.S. market.
This meeting takes place in a sensitive international context, which enhances its significance and highlights the importance of showcasing Morocco’s reality as a stable, open country recognized for the reliability of its tourism environment.
The presence of top American decision-makers in Morocco sends a strong signal of confidence and offers an opportunity to reinforce a clear and reassuring perception of the destination, far removed from any association with conflict zones.
Over the course of ten days, Casablanca, Rabat, Fès, Tangier, Chefchaouen, and Marrakech are hosting a delegation of around fifty key figures, including members of the USTOA board of directors, tour operator executives, and professionals responsible for product development and destination selection.
Their immersion across Moroccan regions allows them to experience firsthand the richness of the country’s tourism offering, the diversity of its experiences, and the quality of its infrastructure, while strengthening professional ties with local industry stakeholders.
March 25 in Rabat marks the strategic core of the event, with the USTOA board meeting followed by an Industry Day organized by the ONMT. This key moment enables direct exchanges between American tour operators and Moroccan professionals on ONMT’s new strategy for the U.S. market, as well as short- and medium-term commercial development opportunities.
Through this event, the ONMT is reinforcing its partnership with the USTOA and pursuing its goal of positioning Morocco as a premium destination among North American leaders, improving its visibility in their catalogs, and accelerating sales in the 2026–2030 horizon, while demonstrating the Kingdom’s capacity to host major international tourism events in a stable and well-managed environment.
