Death of Kamal Laabi, known as “Chef Kimo”
The Moroccan gastronomy scene is in mourning following the passing of chef Kamal Laabi, better known to the general public as Chef Kimo, who died at the age of 57. His death has deeply affected professionals in the sector as well as the many food enthusiasts who followed his work.
A native of Fez, the cradle of a centuries-old culinary tradition, he stood out for his constant commitment to preserving and promoting Moroccan cuisine.
