Royal Armed Forces Deal a Decisive Blow to the Hierarchy of the Polisario Terrorist Militias

A new high-precision operation carried out by the Moroccan Royal Armed Forces has marked a major turning point in the balance of power in the Sahara. According to information now confirmed by the Polisario itself, Lahbib Mohamed Abdelaziz, son of the former leader of the terrorist movement Mohamed Abdelaziz, was killed in a highly effective Moroccan drone strike.
The operation, which reportedly also resulted in the deaths of several senior Polisario officials, is viewed by many observers as a major strategic success for the Royal Armed Forces (FAR), once again demonstrating their ability to accurately neutralize high-value targets while reinforcing their technological superiority on the battlefield.
The death of Lahbib Mohamed Abdelaziz carries considerable symbolic and political significance. Described as one of the rising figures within the terrorist movement and regarded by some as a potential future leader of the organization, his elimination represents a major setback for the Polisario’s chain of command.
The operation also highlights the deep vulnerabilities of a terrorist organization facing internal divisions and the gradual erosion of its leadership. The simultaneous neutralization of several key figures further aggravates the structural challenges confronting the movement.
For the Royal Armed Forces, this action is part of a strategy of constant vigilance aimed at safeguarding the security of the Kingdom and countering any threat likely to undermine national stability. It also reflects the high level of professionalism, operational readiness, and technological expertise achieved by Morocco’s military institution.
This new operational victory confirms the central role of intelligence capabilities and drone systems in the evolution of modern military doctrines, while further demonstrating the FAR’s ability to conduct targeted operations against strategic objectives.
