Lower House Speaker Represents His Majesty the King in Côte d’Ivoire’s President’s Investiture Ceremony

Abidjan - The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rachid Talbi Alami, represented His Majesty King Mohammed VI, on Monday in Abidjan, in the investiture ceremony of the re-elected President of the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire, Alassane Ouattara.

During this ceremony, held at the Presidential Palace in the Ivorian economic capital, Ouattara sworn in as President of Côte d’Ivoire for a new five-year term, in the presence of several Heads of States and government, presidents of institutions as well as representatives of international organizations and foreign delegations.

His Majesty King Mohammed VI had sent a congratulatory message to the Ivorian president, Alassane Ouattara, following his re-election as President of the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire.

In this message, the Sovereign expressed to Ouattara His warmest congratulations and His best wishes of success in his senior position, rejoicing in the prospect of working with the Ivorian president in order to further strengthen the strategic partnership between the Kingdom of Morocco and the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire.
