Megarama Opens Its First IMAX® Theatre in Rabat at Arribat Center

With a capacity of 150 seats, the new theatre invites moviegoers in Rabat to experience cinema in a different way. It delivers striking image clarity that enhances every detail, a giant curved screen that literally fills the viewer’s field of vision and creates the sensation of stepping into the film, richer colors and deep contrasts that heighten emotion, as well as an immersive sound environment in which every note and movement unfolds with remarkable presence. More than just a screening, IMAX offers a true sensory immersion, designed to bring audiences closer to the story, the characters and the filmmaking itself.

The opening of the theatre will coincide with the national release of Avatar: Fire and Ash, the highly anticipated new installment in James Cameron’s saga. A major global event, this third chapter promises an even more spectacular exploration of the world of Pandora, featuring new environments, major technological advances in visual effects and a narrative centered on new family and tribal dynamics. Shown in IMAX, Avatar 3 will offer audiences in Rabat an optimal immersive experience, fully aligned with the visual and sound vision intended by the director.
