Casablanca: Judicial Investigation Opened to Determine the Circumstances of a Suicide Attempt by an Individual Under Investigation
The National Brigade of the Judicial Police opened, on Wednesday evening, a judicial investigation under the supervision of the competent Public Prosecutor’s Office to determine the circumstances that led an individual, who was the subject of an ongoing judicial investigation, to attempt suicide, resulting in serious injuries.
According to a security source, preliminary findings supported by on-site observations indicate that the individual threw himself from the window of an office located on an upper floor of the National Brigade of the Judicial Police headquarters. This occurred during investigative procedures related to his alleged involvement in a criminal case, leading to severe injuries that required his transfer to the hospital in critical condition.
The judicial investigations, conducted under the supervision of the competent Public Prosecutor’s Office, aim to clarify the circumstances and full details of the incident. The injured individual remains hospitalized and is receiving the necessary medical care, the same source added.
