Nasser Bourita meets in New York with Bankole Adeoye on the sidelines of the 80th UN General Assembly
On the sidelines of the High-Level Week of the 80th Session of the United Nations General Assembly, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates, Nasser Bourita, held a meeting on Monday, September 22 in New York, with Bankole Adeoye, Commissioner of the African Union for Political Affairs, Peace and Security.

This high-level exchange is part of the ongoing dialogue between the Kingdom of Morocco and the African Union, aimed at strengthening political cooperation mechanisms, consolidating conflict prevention efforts and promoting lasting peace on the continent.
The meeting also provided an opportunity to address key issues related to governance, institutional stability and the leading role that Morocco, under the leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, continues to play within African initiatives for development, peace and security.
Through this meeting, Nasser Bourita reaffirmed the Kingdom’s commitment to a united and concerted African approach, based on dialogue, South-South cooperation and respect for the sovereignty of States.
For his part, Bankole Adeoye praised Morocco’s constructive contribution within the African Union, particularly in areas related to the fight against terrorism, political mediation and the strengthening of human security.
