Strengthening Moroccan-Emirati cooperation in the field of civil aviation was at the center of talks held Monday in Dubai between the Minister of Transport and Logistics, Abdessamad Kayouh, and the Director General of the General Civil Aviation Authority of the United Arab Emirates, Saif Mohammed Al Suwaidi.

During this meeting, held on the sidelines of the 19th edition of the Dubai Airshow, both sides commended the excellent cooperation between Morocco and the United Arab Emirates, highlighting the prospects for further bilateral collaboration in civil aviation.
They also reviewed several aspects of the close cooperation between the two brotherly countries in this sector, particularly technical cooperation between the Moroccan Civil Aviation Directorate and its Emirati counterpart, through strengthened exchange of expertise in the field.
In a statement to MAP, Mr. Kayouh noted that this meeting was an opportunity to pay tribute to the United Arab Emirates for their unwavering support for Morocco’s candidacy for a permanent seat at the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) in Canada. He added that, on this occasion, an invitation was extended to the Emirati side to visit Morocco in order to promote expertise exchange, particularly through technical cooperation between both countries.
