Casablanca: Launch of the 2nd Art’s Factory Program, an Initiative Supporting Young Talents in the Creative Industries
The second edition of the Art’s Factory program, dedicated to identifying, training and supporting young talents in the creative and digital industries, was launched on Tuesday in Casablanca.

This edition, inaugurated in the presence of the United States Consul General in Casablanca, Marissa Scott, aims to be a space for inspiration and creativity. Art’s Factory offers a practical and innovative environment, enabling participants to develop their skills, broaden their professional horizons and facilitate their entry into the job market through applied training and field projects.
In a statement to the press, Ms. Scott expressed her satisfaction at taking part in this event, praising “the remarkable work accomplished by Art’s Factory in supporting and promoting young talents in the creative arts.”
She stressed that “the American government and people remain committed partners of Morocco in supporting the development and sustainability of the creative industries,” adding that this commitment is reflected in particular through the sharing of expertise and the exchange of experiences.
Ms. Scott recalled that Siham El Faydi, the founder of the program, had taken part in an exchange program in the United States, noting that her journey “perfectly illustrates the spirit of transmission and collaboration that characterizes relations between the two countries.” She said she was pleased to see her putting her experience at the service of young Moroccans through Art’s Factory.
Emphasizing that the consulate will follow this second edition with interest, Ms. Scott affirmed that “we will continue to support initiatives aimed at strengthening creativity and innovation in Morocco.”
For her part, Ms. El Faydi indicated that Art’s Factory stands out this year for a stronger focus on digital professions, noting that the program is structured around four main modules dedicated to digital content creation, editorial creation, 2D animation and a series of workshops on artificial intelligence tools integrated into creative processes and content production.
Ms. El Faydi recalled that this program, designed as a professional integration mechanism, had enabled 47 talents out of 60 to find opportunities during its first edition, a result she described as “very encouraging,” noting that for the current edition, the objective is to structure a unifying space dedicated to artistic communities and digital content creators in the region.
She stressed that the ambition is to make this space “the main destination for creators in Casablanca-Settat,” by offering them a professional working environment supervised by experienced experts and built around an ecosystem that includes a creative studio, workshop spaces and a Masterhub designed to host masterclasses, meetings and various events throughout the Art’s Factory cycle.
The launch ceremony was marked by testimonials from former participants, who shared their experience within Art’s Factory and its impact on their professional paths. Excerpts from works produced by several laureates were also presented, illustrating the quality of the support and training provided.
The program, aimed at young people aged 16 to 30 in disciplines such as storytelling, digital content production, 2D animation techniques and applications of artificial intelligence in creative work, extends over more than three months, combining learning, practical application and the development of concrete projects.
According to the organizers, the laureates of this second edition will benefit from major rewards and opportunities, including participation in international reference events such as the Annecy International Animation Film Festival, as well as professional support for producing their first short film. Other prizes and opportunities will be revealed as part of the detailed program of this edition.
