CAF Champions League: RS Berkane Edge Al Hilal to Book Semi-Final Spot
Renaissance Sportive de Berkane (RSB) secured qualification for the semi-finals of the CAF Champions League after a hard-fought 1-0 away victory over Al Hilal Omdurman on Sunday at Amahoro Stadium in Kigali, in the second leg of the quarter-finals.

The decisive moment came deep into stoppage time, when Mounir Chouiar found the net in the 93rd minute, sealing a dramatic win for the Moroccan side after a tightly contested encounter that remained balanced until the very end.
The first leg in Berkane had ended in a 1-1 draw, allowing RSB to progress on aggregate and confirm their place among the final four teams in the competition.
In the semi-finals, RS Berkane will face fellow Moroccan side AS FAR, who also advanced after defeating Pyramids FC 2-1 away in Cairo, with goals from Reda Slim and Rabii Hrimat. The Egyptian side had briefly reduced the deficit through Fiston Mayele but were unable to overturn the tie.
This sets up a highly anticipated all-Moroccan clash for a place in the final, highlighting the strong presence of Moroccan clubs on the continental stage.
