Euromed University of Fez Hosts Strategic Event on AI and Signs Major Agreement for Industry X.0

Euromed University of Fez hosted, on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, an event dedicated to the role of artificial intelligence in the digital transformation of organizations, with a particular focus on Industry X.0 and health-related industries. Organized in partnership with the Ministry of Digital Transition and Administration Reform and the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Morocco, the meeting brought together several institutional, academic, and industrial stakeholders to discuss the challenges of technological innovation in Morocco.

A key highlight of the day was the signing of the Jazari Industry X.0 agreement, marking an important milestone in the development of the national innovation ecosystem. The initiative aims to strengthen synergies between academic research, industry, and public institutions in order to accelerate technology transfer and promote the practical industrial application of scientific research.

The signing ceremony took place in the presence of Amal El Fallah-Seghrouchni, Minister Delegate to the Head of Government in charge of Digital Transition and Administration Reform, Ryad Mezzour, Minister of Industry and Trade, and Mostapha Bousmina, President of Euromed University of Fez.

The event also served as a platform for discussion, bringing together public decision-makers, researchers, industrial leaders, entrepreneurs, and investors through two thematic panels. The first focused on technology transfer, artificial intelligence, and value creation in industrial value chains, exploring the conditions required to move from academic research to large-scale industrialization. The second panel addressed the health industries, examining the impact of artificial intelligence on biomedical research, medical technologies, and the improvement of healthcare pathways.

Through this event, Euromed University of Fez reaffirmed its role as an academic and scientific platform supporting Morocco’s technological transformation, actively contributing to the structuring of a national artificial intelligence ecosystem capable of generating economic, industrial, and societal value.
