Dakhla: Launch of a New Phase of the National “JobInTech” Program
A new phase of the national JobInTech program, overseen by the Ministry of Digital Transition and Administration Reform, was launched this Saturday in Dakhla, as part of the celebrations marking the fiftieth anniversary of the Glorious Green March.
This new phase, supported by the ministry, carried out in partnership with the Caisse de Dépôt et de Gestion (CDG) Group, and implemented by the Maroc Numeric Cluster foundation, was launched at the Higher School of Technology in Dakhla under the theme “Higher Education and Territorial Development: Perspectives and Challenges in the Dakhla-Oued Eddahab Region by 2030.”
Presided over by Ms. Amel Falah Essaghrichni, Minister Delegate in charge of Digital Transition and Administration Reform, the event was attended by Mr. Khalid Safir, Director General of the CDG Group, and Mr. Mehdi Kettani, President of Maroc Numeric Cluster. All participants reaffirmed their continued commitment to supporting and expanding the JobInTech program across all regions of the Kingdom.
In her address, the minister stated that JobInTech represents a strategic driving force for strengthening Morocco’s digital sovereignty and training a new generation of national talents in artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, software development, and data analysis.
Ms. Essaghrichni emphasized the government’s commitment to equipping youth with future-oriented skills while ensuring fair access to digital training across all regions, including the southern provinces.
On this occasion, a partnership agreement was signed between Maroc Numeric Cluster and the Higher School of Technology of Dakhla in order to formalize their cooperation within the framework of the JobInTech program, aligned with its national expansion goals.
Furthermore, the President of the Dakhla-Oued Eddahab region, Mr. El Khattat Yanja, the President of Ibn Zohr University, Mr. Nabil Hmina, as well as the President of Maroc Numeric Cluster highlighted the major importance of this program in the professional integration of young people and the development of the regional innovation ecosystem.
They recalled that the program represents an exemplary model of territorial deployment of national digital policies, creating a real bridge between the academic sector and the economic environment.
This new phase strengthens the development momentum underway in the Dakhla-Oued Eddahab region, aiming to train more than 100 learners in digital skills to support their professional integration and respond to the growing demand of local and national companies for digital sector professions.
Through this expansion, the ministry reaffirms its determination to accelerate the implementation of the Morocco Digital Strategy 2030 by extending digital training to all twelve regions of the Kingdom and strengthening national capabilities in this field.
The launch of this initiative in Dakhla highlights the joint will of public institutions and their partners to build an inclusive, innovative, and opportunity-driven digital future for Morocco’s youth.
