Historic entry of Tesla into Morocco: Model 3 and Model Y to be unveiled from February 6 at AnfaPlace Casablanca
Tesla has officially confirmed its entry into the Moroccan market starting Friday, February 6, 2026, marking a major milestone for electric mobility in the Kingdom. This launch will take shape through the opening of a pop-up store at AnfaPlace Mall in Casablanca, alongside the launch of a dedicated online ordering website specifically intended for Moroccan customers.

This temporary showcase, which represents Tesla’s first official presence in Africa, will give the public the opportunity to discover two of the brand’s flagship models up close: the Model 3 and the Model Y, cornerstones of the American manufacturer’s electric strategy.
To celebrate the event, Tesla is planning an inauguration evening open to the general public, scheduled for February 6 starting at 8:00 p.m. The stated objective is both educational and technological: to familiarize visitors with the Tesla universe, explain how an electric vehicle functions on a daily basis, detail home charging solutions and present the brand’s overall vision, based on innovation, performance and sustainability.
Beyond this physical presence, Tesla is simultaneously rolling out its direct sales model. From launch day, Moroccan customers will be able to configure, customize and order their vehicles entirely online, without going through a traditional dealership network. This fully digital approach redefines the car-buying experience, from option selection to final order confirmation.
This establishment is not an improvised initiative. Tesla Morocco, the group’s local subsidiary, was created in May 2025, with capital exceeding 27 million dirhams and headquarters located at Casablanca Marina, thus laying the foundations for a lasting presence in the country.
On the infrastructure front, the manufacturer has taken a clear lead. A network of 24 Supercharger stations is already operational in several major cities, including Casablanca, Rabat, Marrakech, Fès, Tangier and Agadir. Available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, these fast-charging stations represent a key lever to reassure future users and facilitate long-distance travel.
With this gradual but structured rollout, Tesla is displaying a clear ambition: not merely to sell vehicles, but to actively support the transition to electric mobility by addressing the main obstacles related to range and charging.
For its entry into the Moroccan market, the brand is relying on two proven models from its lineup. The Model 3, one of the best-selling electric sedans worldwide, and the Model Y, a versatile compact SUV designed for everyday use, will carry Tesla’s banner during this highly anticipated launch in Morocco.
